We’re Hosting an OpenMic Night!
A couple friends and I are hosting an open mic night in Tracy, CA on Friday, February 17th! The event is to be held at the Tracy Community Church (1790 Sequoia Blvd) and it goes from 7 - 10 PM.
What’s it for?
A 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Negros Island in The Philippines that has left many dead or injured, and has left countless people without the basic necessities (i.e. food, water, a place to sleep). Admission to the open mic is FREE, but donations to the Philippine Red Cross are accepted at the door, and will go toward relief for these earthquake victims.
But this is also for you!If you’ve ever thought about performing and never had the chance to, this is your chance to showcase your musical talent, your rap skills, or your genius with spoken word. We’ll do our best to create a comfortable, diverse, and supportive environment for you to shine! Even if you don’t want to perform, the place will be a good place to chill on a Friday night!
For Performers:
To sign up ahead of time, contact:
- Me! (209) 275 2411
- Camille David (209) 627 7262
- Gio Landicho (209) 670 0445
After contacting one of us with your name, talent, and contact number, send us your lyrics via email to
camilledavidmusic@yahoo.com
- All performances are limited to a 10 minute set to ensure that all wanting to perform get a chance to showcase their talent.
- Bring your own instruments, and a cable if possible! We will have a speaker and mic system, as well as a drum set available for use. Damage to these items will be held accountable to those who caused it.
- If you’re not sure you want to now, but you decide to perform last minute, bring us a print-out or write up of your lyrics to the door at 6:30, and we’ll put you on the lineup.
Please take into consideration:
If any of these rules are broken, we will be forced to shut down the event! Take into account performers who’ve brought their supporters, family, and friends. Help us maintain a positive and comfortable environment, and show everyone a good time.
- This event is being held at a church, and while we have no affiliation with the Tracy Community Church, we have a strict rule involving no vulgarity or profane language on or off the stage. This applies to performances!
- We’d like to create a positive environment for our performers, and attendees! Please don’t boo or heckle!
